As a subscriber, seeing only furry creator ads:
On the submissions and front page: We have a nice full width banner on top but then this then this wide but small advertisement beneath it with a ton of negative space around it... looks bad in every display mode other than tablet.
At least with the other ads they're beneath or tucked alongside and incorporated into the design a bit better (as much as I used to hate them cluttering the functionality).
Any chance we can ditch this ad type entirely for full screen desktop usage or do something with the element to make it take more horizontal space?
Sure, we could just block ads, but I'd prefer not to. I just want them in sensible places which do not disrupt the site experience as much visually.
My impulse is to find a solution which imposes symmetry and less negative space in display modes larger than tablet.
Update: I posted this journal and got an eyeful of this height-hog advertisement on that page as well. That negative space needs to go. <_>;;
