What's Old is New Again
I've been looking through my personal music library, and I've rediscovered quite a collection of tracks that I've made over the course of 10 years that I've all but completely forgotten about. I've lost a lot of the source files for these tracks from catastrophic events like computer failures and hard drive crashes, and so the only surviving versions are the MP3's that I've rendered from the aforementioned source files.
I've found that it's also good for the soul to have a look back on where I was 10 years ago, and how far I've come with my covers, original compositions, and sound design experiments. To me, what's old is new again, just like the subject line for this journal. ^^

I will admit, I do enjoy listening to the stuff you made in a time before we met, though I do agree: it is indeed good for the soul to take a retrospective look back on one's prior works, to see the areas where one has improved, and the areas where one needs further improvement. ^^
