I've been sick for the better part of 2 weeks and only now do I feel like I've recovered enough energy to be myself.
Unfortunately, right in the middle of that was my 30th birthday. By the time that arrived, I was so sleep deprived I was basically dissociating. I had to cancel my party and a family dinner which at the time I didn't even react to, but now I'm seeing how good it could have been. Oh well. I guess on the flipside I haven't had to angst about being 30.

Sorry if I was rude to anyone recently but I hope you'd understand why.

In other news, Merry Christmas.
Got my presents wrapped and if I can maintain motivation I'll make Christmas cookies. Then it's off to the grandparents house tomorrow where my family will play a drinking game of taking a drink every time we would rather be anywhere else. My grandmother must be in control at all times or she has a fit like a child. Glad I'm not sick anymore cause it takes every ounce of self control to deal with her. But enjoy your time with family, right? (I promise I'll be more jolly once Christmas is over)
