The one I read that was published in 1957 did not have Jihad as the goal, mainly because every generation the Quran is re-written. Something Moslems always change the subject and quote from their current version that what I know to be true cannot be.Eeach generation all moslems are to turn in their old Korans and burn them. everybody is given new Korans.
In comparison the bible was re-written in the early 70's but so many Christians saw it as having the wrong message no one refers to it and instead most every denomination follows the King James version. It was called "Good news for the modern Man".
In the middle 1840's a lay preacher (backwoods ministry educated) reinterpreted the Kind James to say that God hates all Homosexuals, which is wrong God doesn't nor did, Peter, Paul or Emmanual (Jesus is a Greek name for Christ) have anything directly against someone being Gay or not. However through out the Bible God does hate rapists, murderers and people that intend to make a person stray from worship of Him. But you're supposed to let them try since 'Jesus' is the God of peace and Love so you have to allow the murderers and rapists run their course and just 'turn the other cheek'.

Myself deciding and finding nothing against being Gay, I am still pissed off at anyone that thinks "they know the Bible or what God wants better than I do" and wants me to live the way they want me too to be just more reinterpretation ie Bullshit. I refuse, I resist and God hasn't killed me yet so even by their standards He must agree with both you and me on being gay is okay since by its nature we love men more literally than anyone else does.

So politically we turn the other cheek since it is Christian, and allow these assholes to murder innocent people. We Americans by our own Constitution allow freedom of religion and allow assholes like this murderer to live here and be a Moslem Jihadist first and an American second. And in places like New York city only criminals can own guns. And places like St.Louis and Detroit it takes the police three hours to respond to a call for help versus someone with a gun.

The Democrats answer for the problems in America is more and bigger government and more lawsuits instead of allowing its citizens to just carry weapons to protect yourself from criminals and murderous religious bastards, until the cops arrive. I learned something that is above tenth degree black belt in Tai-chi and Karate so if I am within five feet of a bastard he isn't going to win. otherwise I'm at the same disadvantage as everyone else is because I don't carry a gun. if you a5re referring to the fort hood stuff the guy had been dealing with PTSD patients for a while and had been told he was not going to go over cause well he had been needed here to help those we already destroyed by sending them there in the first fucking place. after all that second hand trauma which can be quite fucked up to deal with they decided they were sending him over. and he basically snapped. all this new shit about him being some sort of radical muslim is new shit probably to make everyone go OH MY A TERRORIST and not look at the illegal actions of the army for going against its word and sending him and for the other shit they tend to cover up like the suicide rates of soilders about to be sent and all the gays they hurt in the military.

also i note they never discuss the radical Christian elements that go in and go over wanting to kill as many muslims as possible. or anyone really. Or any of the other people of radical thought they recruit. No he was a muslim so that must be it. not that they do anything to anyone.

That's an interesting thought. I wonder if there are guys in our armed forces who are psychotically Christian and are over there with an agenda of basically having an open invitation to kill muslims. Many Christians also consider themselves Christian before American. So what, that's a bad thing when it's a Muslim, but a good thing in a Christian? Mind you, I personally consider basic human rights more important than patriotic affiliations or religious ideologies.

It's true that this could be more of a case of a guy just going "postal". However, the fact that he'd been in contact with dangerous radical "religious" leaders beforehand should not be overlooked. That HAD to have contributed to the internal conflict that broke down his sanity.

Thats the thing though. he may not have actually been in touch with them. when all this happened none of that was mentioned. what was mentioned was his mental state and what he had done before this. it was not until it looked bad on the army that suddenly he had these ties. that is why i suspect this is all a cover up.

and yeah there are such christians in the military. it is part of what the fundies want. i should know i used to be one... when they sing onward christian soilders they mean it literally. gays and others are not even human in their teachings. Note this has nothing to do with MOST Christians though a lot of them seem lost anymore but JUST the really psycho portions. like the fundamentalists. they often wanted us to get this kind of training for when it came time to fight and kill all the sinners in the name of God. so yeah.. they are there with multilevel agendas and they beleive much like the muslims that they get a got to heaven and get to sit with Jesus card for dying for the cause...

Not a very good cover up--it makes them all look likes idiots. According to what I read, the DOD knew about his ties to these outfits well beforehand, and nothing was done in spite of his position supposedly helping soldiers deal with troubles arising from service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I admit I don't know much about Islam as a religion. I generally disregard ANY cult that is so mired in dogmatic bullshit that they have to wear special clothes and worship in such specific and pointless ways--and that includes Judaism and Christianity. I have difficulty equating a being who can create a universe as huge and varied and awesome as this with most of the childish, selfish and belligerent behavior attributed to "God". And if these extremist whack-jobs are the only ones who are going to be in "heaven" then I definitely don't want to go there!
