The shape of things to come (A.I.)

General
When electricity was first harnessed, there was not much practical use for it. Early scientific experiments involved applying current to the legs of dead frogs to make them move and twitch. But eventually, electricity became the most influential discovery since fire. Today we can’t think of one aspect of human life that doesn’t involve some electronic or electrically powered device.
A.I.-generated “art” is the equivalent of those twitching frog legs. A parlor trick use for a technology that’s in its infancy stage, but will eventually become ubiquitous. In the next decades, you will witness some variant of A.I. (under different names) transform every possible aspect of human life and culture. I don’t know if it will make our lives better or worse, probably a complex mix of both at different levels.
People are now freaking out over the “art” part, but what’s coming is so much bigger, the present debate will sound silly in hindsight.
"A.I. art" is only the first drops of water appearing on the wall of a damn about to burst.

And of course, the SINGERS have been bitching ever since the first instrument at all was invented...
A great example was Kodak. They tried to stick to the old system until it was too late.
I grew up taking pictures. The old method had a lot of charm and it was a lot more challenging. You didn't know what you got until it was developed. Now you see what you get instantly. In a way, it killed the magic. With cellphones, automatic focus, and digital filters anyone is a photographer. But there is nothing to do about it.
...and of course you could tweak the format or mash-up shows together, or add cameos from celebrities of your choice.
What I had forgot was that there was a follow-up, three years later: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8695701/
Sounds impressive in theory.
But after years of advanced cryocooling it still cant play Doom, let alone outperform Crysis.
What we will witness in the next decade is China killing the Taiwan transistor making monopoly and the global microchip boom brought on by Moore's law 3 decade long self fulfilling proficy. This will cause all software development to work on lower tech specks, and the luxury of AI that does not justify its cost will die out in favor of keeping the systems running as is.
