Well this certainly has been a roller coaster of a year, and by that I mean idiotic morons screwing things up on so many levels that whatever faith in humanity I have left is continuing crumbles away to the point I literally want to be isekai'ed out of this world and not deal with the obvious corruptions, real life problems that nobody is addressing to and instead focusing on shit that's not even real as some sort of bullshit offensive to a bunch of snowflakes and of course the governmnet takes on their side, making things even worse and they don't get even paid or benefits from it either; shooting themself further in the foot for their stupidity.
Honestly ever since I manage to leave Ikea in Mars, I thought I finally manage to get away from the problems but nope, turns out the company I work for is no longer a company that it's core founding value was to help people. Now those asshats care nothing more but about the numbers at the expanse of people's health and safety, cus I found out from my coworker who not only also worked at Ikea but also is an Union representive that there has been three deaths within the working hour of the company and one of them was suicide. Can ya all guess why the poor guy took his own life? That's right, he was in similar position as me and he simply couldn't handle the mental bullying, being manipulated by both managers and asshole bosses, unable to leave the shitty workplace no matter what for so long that he took his own life, his mother of course as natural sued the company for breaking its core value of WHY it was founded in the first place and the union had enough of their shit that there is a literal goddamn war going on between the company bosses and their little manager minions who suck up to them VS the union who has enough of their shit and constantly breathing down their necks.
Guess what, despite the union now watching their every move, the assholes still continue to either defend idiotic managers who are either abusing their status or unable to handle the responsibility, lies and say they come by to have meetings but don't show up the date they said they would and then three weeks later appears after almost no contact either through phone or messages and then act like nothing ever happened. oh and let's not even get to the part of them keep preaching about helping us finding real jobs outside the company and then suddenly vanish and keep no contact for several months once I presented a file that I wrote to present another company of what I do and how long I worked as I WANT to get out of that useless company, so that me and my boss could go over if it looks good or not... And even to this day I STILL have heard NOTHING!
The only saving grace is that I ended up in Benders, basically a facility that make stonework pavements, building blocks and of course, repairing wooden pallets and that's the one I ended up working and so far people over there are pretty chill and helpful, even got to work with some of my former ikea coworkers who also ended up there. The only complaint so far is a manager who not only stresses us up to hurrying repairing the wooden pallets ON A MONDAY when we have an entire week to work on fixing and checking the pallets, goes behind our backs to fix more work and half the time they're not even paid work so we basically doing free labour, the boss placed there from the company keeps defending him and would give people a dirty serial killer look whenever someone talk back to him and complains about either the behaviour of the manager or some of the decision that makes no goddamn sense.
So yeah... Apparently I was naive enough to think the problems were at Ikea but apparently is ALL over Sweden and now I want to get the fuck out of the company and never come back ever again.
Thankfully I already made several plans on how to do it and it's going to start after the new years eve, it ain't going to be easy and probably be disappointed when not getting hired by the places i'm looking for but I won't give up till I finally leave that festering hell hole of a company, that's a promise.
Anyway, on a more positive note.
I'll be working more on lost soul game so hopefully by either near the end of the month of next that I have a decent working demo or a video showcasing what I have made. As for my comic The Moron squad, that too will be worked on as I started it last year on this same week but also i'm going to try finish it goddammit!
Commissions will also be worked on as not only I had to deal with both stress and getting used to my new workplace, but they didn't get worked on that much because of it.
And finally, a very VERY late christmas video that I've been making. Sadly I haven't been able to finish it as I'm not even halfway done due to the amount of frames and work I have to put into... And these are basically static pictures with no animation either! I started working on this two weeks before christmas but no thanks to my job draining so much energy and underestimated the amount of worked needed to put into; I won't be able to finish it on new year eve either... and ya know what? that's fine, I'm going to work on it at my own pace and put in all the work needed to make it good and awesome.
I may not been able to finish it before christmas or new year, but I'm not going to abandoned something that I worked on and call it a day; no sir!
I wished I had more positive things to say but this year has been... a challenge to say the least, I truly wish the next year will be a lot more bearable and that i finally manage to leave the shitty company and never look back.
