PRICES & INFO | TERMS OF SERVICE | ADOPTS & YCHSI dunno if people still post/read journals but HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2022 was a pretty rad year for me, I'm really getting the hang of TCG vending, and I'm glad I still have time to put out titty art :3
Trying to think of all the stuff I accomplished this year... I got to do internal playtesting for the new DLC for Ludeon Studio's Rimworld that came out in October, so that was super fun. Tynan Sylvester and his dev team are cool peeps, and it's been fun helping them polish all the cool stuff they're making. Also, if you haven't played Rimworld, play it.
Then I beat Elden Ring with a melee build, prior to any balancing patches. I consider myself a decent gamer, and I've, for example, beaten Dark Souls 3 over a dozen times, but Elden Ring's final boss took me SEVEN CONSECUTIVE HOURS to kill. It was probably the most agonizing gamer moment I've ever had, but at least I did it x_x
Also got first place for the first time at our weekly local Yugioh tournament back in March! It took me about 7-8 months of hard training, but I eventually got good at competitive Yugioh again :B I then proceeded to get 1st place a grand total of 14 times in 2022, and turns out that's more 1st place finishes than our local pro who I consider to be a Yugioh guru (he's gotten in top 32 multiple times at large regional events). I'm giving him a run for his money it seems ;D I also went to my first regional event in over 10 years and got... 33rd place :') just one spot away from getting a "top". Was super bittersweet, but was a learning experience.
Another neato thing was, of course, getting my TCG vending store off the ground, and I was really luck to be able to partner with a local TCG shop! I sell his cards online for him and pay him a decent sized "subscription fee" per year, and he lets me buy sealed product for wholesale price. It's definitely a win-win and makes my vending gig a whole lot easier. Can't wait to see what the market will look like for 2023!
I was also kind of worried that I wouldn't have good stuff to slot in to each month for my Summary of Art that I posted, but I didn't miss a single month! I think my art has been quality over quantity, rather than just a drop in quantity, so that's a pleasant surprise.
Anywho as always, big thanks to my patrons, the people who comment/fav my stuff on FA and Twitter, and the folks in the Boob Kingdom Discord! Love having a group of folks to interact with while I'm locked in my room, hard at work drawing tiddy :B hope you all had a happy new year, and on to 2023!
