Happy New Year
I spent the New Year in VRChat with frens again. It's my new tradition and I find it much more enjoyable than being in a press of people and dealing with drunks fact to face. Don't get me wrong, I like a drink myself, but past getting sloppy drunk.
I was going to go out and fursuit to ring out the old year, but I wanted to get home. Still a 90 minute drive -- even without heavy traffic. I did stop and have a drink with some Elks.
Furry Business
There are some local meets coming up. A meet and eat at the end of the month, a Dave and Busters Meet where we can fursuit, and possibly a Slot Car meet.
I am commissioning a furry baseball cap to cover my thinning hair and to act as a base for my headband Clifford ears.
I may also be commissioning a new badge from a local starving artist. They need the work and I want an older, Chonkier Charlie.
I can't identify as a sleek young dog as much as I want to. I've tried to drop some of the pounds I've put on, but I'm not inspired enough to exercise and I still stuff my feelings.
It's a telework day tomorrow, and then an in the office day Wednesday. I am going to put in for a transfer to the closer office sooner rather than later.
I've decided to make a life down here and I have some Local fur groups to have fun with.
Haven't done any drawing since my Sherlock Hound studies. Too busy with IRL and not feeling the best.
