The reason behind this is to differentiate between the "sfw" side and the "nsfw" side that I have and share. For example could I not show this gallery to my ten year old nephew. The SFW-button is another matter. After all, SFW stands for "safe for work". But there are works and circles to which I might like to show my gallery, without that they see a few clicks away what I am sexually attracted to. That maybe sounds cowardly, but I am not the type of guy who rubs anyone immediately under the nose what kind of sexual preference I have. - with other words, I want things to look a bit more professional and less sexual. The sexual side can then sown on the NSFW-account.

If that's the case, I think it would be much easier to create a SFW account and keep this one the NSFW.
You should get rid of any NSFW publication, comment, etc. in this account with all the comments, views, etc. related to them, and your username would still be present in all the publications of other users that got NSFW pictures with you, so a search of your user may end in your character beeing seen doing NSFW stuff.

If you create a new account with the purpouse of being SFW, it will be clean and out of any tie to NSFW stuff since its beginning, and you can upload there too the SFW publications you have without having to delete anything from this account, since you can keep the SFW stuff here without problem.

It's not like I wanna cut all ties. Or wanna hide all. This is a site with lots of adult content and a visitor needs to be aware of that. Besides, I'm not quite sure how I would name a new account yet. It's also not decided. I wanna gather opinions and arguments for pro and contra and try then a balanced decission.

If you want this one to stay sfw then I think it's a good idea to have a nsfw one so you can show off your other art.

Definitely nothing wrong with that just might be easier to make the new one sfw and this one nsfw since people already associate this account with nsfw. Would have to worry about taking pics down hiding/removing favs and comments plus changing watch lists if you don’t want to risk any porn showing up at all
