RIP (maybe?) iMac

General
A few weeks ago my Mac started to act weird. I was working and suddenly it reseted. And again. And again <_< it stuck at the apple screen and never moved forward. Because of the holidays, I didn't have time to take it for revision. The place where they fix Apple things is very far from where I live.
I took it last Friday and today they called me. They opened and it was full of dirt! The lady that attended me asked me when was the last time I took it for maintenance.
"Uh, I never gave it maintenance" <_<
She gave me a look of "well shit"
She said that my model of Mac (2011) was one of the last ones made under the supervision of Steve Jobs before he passed away and that they rarely if ever malfunction, unlike the newest ones which are very fragile.
Anyway...they told me that the dirt burned some circuits and the reparation will cost me...around 350 dollars!
I was like "WHAT THE FUCK?!"...Of course I didn't tell her that but HOLY SHIT! 350 dollars?!
I told her that forget about it. I don't have that money...and god knows when I will have such amount. I'll told her that I'll pick it up on Monday.
I mean, I knew it was going to happen someday. It is like 12 years old. It worked fine for a looong time. It was stupid of me for never taking it for maintenance but it never gave me problems for over 10 years. It was inevitable. It was a great decade of Mac lovin' but everything comes to an end...
...or maybe not? She told me that they can divide the amount in 6 bi-weekly payments which is much easier to pay.
I told her I'll think about it.
I doubt I'll get a Mac again. They are much more expensive than before and, since Jobs passed away, the company has dropped in quality. At least with PC's.
Right now I am using my mom's laptop, wjich was my dad's before. She said that I can use it as long as I need it, specially since I'll start teaching online soon. And is a great laptop. But I loved my mac u_u
Let's see what happens.

si lograras conseguir una Mac nueva estaría fantástica aunque las Mac hasta siendo viejas salen buenas solo que sin poder actualizarse a lo más actual
