Helicopters are clearly the solution. Versatile AF and decent at short-to-mid-range transportation.

But on carriages you get to play with horses!

Helicopters are used to aerial lift horses, as well.
Therefore, you can still play with horses on a helicopter. I don’t see why you wouldn’t go for it.

Eh, horses have ridiculous upkeep costs due to the fact they're living things.
That, and they're slower than a helicopter. A famous person doesn't care about the environment because they think their time's more important, so speed wins out.
