Eusine has bad luck in my Pokemon AU

Developing the lore of my pokemon universe is something that I love (where is teddy, and many of my Oc pokemon)
This journal is to mention a particular fact that I find funny but at the same time something interesting to tell:
As you know, the character of eusine (pokemon crystal) had the goal of trying to catch and get suicune for an ambiguous purpose, The fact is that in my pokemon universe eusine does exist (since it is based on the pokemon games in my universe), but the point I want to get to is that jotho's suicune is with andrew.
This wouldn't sound weird unless we ask the question... "why is suicune with andrew and not with any of the original main characters)
This question takes on more force when we remember Eusine and her attempts to catch her.
postponing the answer to that question for later (the answer will come in the fanfic series slice of life or a separate fanfic), the point I want to get to is that eusine, regardless of what has happened in my Au, has tremendous bad luck
imagine eusine's point of view: working hard to try to catch a mythical "beast", knowing a lot about its history and abilities, training all the time to be "worthy" only to end up with a young adult staying with that beast, making may your effort of years be in vain
Imagine giving all of yourself only so that in the end, someone without any effort and without any idea of the context, has managed to do in minutes what you couldn't; it's kind of frustrating and a bad joke
I will soon explore this particular piece of information in depth (which may become a mystery, if I do not answer it)
