"nah uh uh" a voice rang out "Where do you think you're going?". Kylie's eyes widened when she heard the voice and she frantically looked around for a way out... but it was too late. The chip in the Australian Shepherd chimed and Kylie fell to her knees after the chip shocked her. "how many times must you try?" a figure asked emerging from the shadows. Kylie started crying "I'm sorry Katniss". The figure walked forward and revealed a beautiful female black house cat. She had dazzling green eyes with a slim green spaghetti strap dress to match her eyes. The click of her heels frightened Kylie. Kylie looked down at her own clothes, a white long-sleeve dress shirt, a green and black tie, a black apron, a black skirt, and white high-top canvas shoes.

Katniss walked up to Kylie and put her claw on the bottom of her chin forcing it up. Katniss looked Kylie in the eyes for a minute, then suddenly slapped her as hard as she could. "What'd I tell you to call me?" Katniss said harshly. Kylie cried "Im sorry ma'am". Katniss smirked "get up" she growled. Kylie stood up quickly leaving her head bowed. Katniss glared at Kylie "be a good pet and fetch me a coffee NOW". Kylie muffled her whimper and nodded and turned to rush to the kitchen.

Kylie was in such a hurry that she ran into another slave. Kylie screamed as she tripped but the other slave caught her. "You ok Kylie?" the gentle deer asked as she helped Kylie to her feet. The doe then saw the mark from Katniss' hand on Kylie's face. "oh..." The doe gives Kylie a hug. "Sorry Rosemary," Kylie said wiping a tear "I was in such a hurry I didn't see you". Rosemary smiled warmly "it's ok... but you should probably get whatever she asked for before she does worse".

Kylie nodded and ran to the kitchen and made the coffee and then walked back to the sitting room in the giant mansion that Katniss owned. Kylie walked carefully with the saucer underneath the coffee cup, walking slowly to not spill any coffee on the dark green carpet. Katniss was sitting in a big green chair by the red brick fireplace. Kylie made sure to stay quiet and she walked up and handed the coffee to Katniss and then turned to walk away.

Yet, Kylie heard the chip in the back of her neck chime again. She spun in a hurry to look at Katniss who was pointing at the ground. "y-y-yes ma'am" Kylie sat on her knees beside Katniss' chair. To Kylie's surprise, Katniss put her elegant hand on the back of Kylie's head and scratched her ears gently. Kylie couldn't help but wag her tail slightly in joy. Kylie looked up at Katniss and she could have sworn she saw a slight smile. Kylie now realized that there might be much more to Katniss than any of the slaves ever saw.
