Power cuts: support needed
Morning/Day/Evening, or whatever time of the day is where you're from`
Figured I need to share a smol status update of what's going on in my life. As, y'know, there's a lot going on with continuous war, and power cuts, and everything else.
Power cuts are a top-annoying thing, as you might've guessed.
They happen more and more often as the time goes by, reducing the hours spent on work. While I still have an iPad and it saves the situation a bit, there's no way everything could be done on it. It doesn't, unfortunately, replace a functional PC.
In other words, that's why I called for your support. The prices of decent laptops could be called somewhat high β while I have my savings, around $700 are still left to collect. Hagal's gratefulness is unlimited to anyone who's ready to help out! My entire job is connected to PC, meaning it's very important for me not to loose touch with it for such a long while. Having a laptop will definitely save some nerves, yikes.
Next, if we manage to buy that laptop soon, there will be a raffle. One winner, two characters. Originally, I planned it for Valentine's day, but perhaps you will be interested to enter nonetheless?
As always, Hagal hopes you're doing alright yourself! Take care guys, thanks for being around.

We have rather specific needs of a thing that can last long AND have decent performance in that time, kinda hard to find
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14" (can be found on sale for $550)
Acer Swift 3 14"
LG gram 14"
Dell XPS13 (the lower-end of the top-of-the-line Dell XPS13 seems to be ~$800-900)
I was specifically looking for a laptop that could be charged/powered by USB-C. Some of them advertise that they can be charged by USB-C but with others I needed to enter the exact model number on the manufacturer's website to find out if it could be charged through the USB-C port.
When power cuts became mostly permanent here I had to sell my desktop + a lot of other things and save up to buy a semi-decent laptop.

Though it isn't the same thing we've had rolling blackouts here in the Southern USA if the weather gets below freezing to conserve electricity. During Christmas it went out every hour for ten minutes, while some people lost power for days. I know it's nowhere near as bad as whats going on over there.
Hell what a roller coasterβ
