Commission and Auction Payment stuff

Heyo!
I mentioned this briefly before but it has become increasingly difficult for me to continue using PayPal.
Not rarely are PayPal fees between $20-$30 (if not higher if it's a very large commission project) but I also have to pay taxes on the whole sum including the amount which are just PayPal fees.
On top of that I lose even more once I convert to my local currency.
I've tried switching to Wise which is proving difficult since I am aware that most people don't know it or don't have an account. But the times I did get to use it, I've had a very positive experience.
Once you have an account it's quite simple. There are fees on the buyers side but it's just a couple of cents from my experience. It would help me out a lot!
Going forward for commissions I plan to mainly accept Wise. For Auctions I will keep the PayPal option, for now.
However if you do win an auction and choose to pay with Wise I will include a free sketch.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

I do hope! At the same time I understand if people don't want to use a different payment option for every artist they commission. I put up with PayPal for a long time because it's the most convenient for clients. But the amount of tax and fees I pay has been going up steadily every year. It's hard to keep up!

Some people use Patreon by having the client pay the commission price as Patreon tier. Not sure of that circumvents your Paypal problem though. It's also a bit risky because the client has to cancel the tier before Patreon charges them again after a months^^
