So I have no idea which ones would be ones I'd want to plop down an account initially. I haven't made one yet because im not sure where to initially plop an account to add to my postybirb posting.

However, the ones some of my followers use meow.social and others use vulpine.club, and these look good for a standard furry account. In addition, moving instances is a thing.
