Misogyny and Femboys

I'm not trying to make a political point or anything I'm just saying this because it's weirdly pervasive on this website and it means a lot to me.
I'm a pretty girly guy. Always have been. Was at home with two sisters and my mom a lot. All my friends growing up and a vast majority of my friends now are women and fems. I like shopping, reality tv, makeup, and pop music. Every summer my besties and I take Insta pics looking like total baddies at the pool drinking White Claw and listening to Harry Styles. People make sonas for a wide variety of reasons and they're all valid, my sona is a femboy because that's how I present and act in real life. A lot of my appearance, hobbies, and personality could be described as feminine. One thing about the femboy label I find empowering is it lets men and mascs like me find a degree of power and control over their gender expression in a self-actualized way. It acknowledges that the idea that gender and all the ways it is expresses can run the gamut and that's totally copacetic. A man being feminine is not a joke or something that's abnormal or different. My girl friends use "femboy" for me as a badge of honor. A sign of trust and certain degree of peership.
Which I gotta ask...why are so many people with femboy characters OR femboy enjoyers misogynistic? Like...actively and aggressively so? It seems like incredible hypocrisy to make a character that celebrates the crushing of gender roles and then proceed to reinforce the very bullshit rules and toxic mentalities that makes this possible. And a lot of fem men deal with the echoes of misogyny that women deal with day in and out and it just strikes me as uncomfy. Maybe it's just a kink or fetish. That's fine. But the trend of creeps DM'ing me and being super inappropriate and going on gross rants about women has happen a weirdly high amount of times. I love women. Women are awesome.
And femininity - from whoever it comes from - can be a lot of things. Femininity can be strong, femininity can be confident, femininity can be assertive, femininity can be powerful, femininity can have the power to make change for good (or ill) complete disparate from masculine ideas of power and strength. I'm strong in my femininity and I get it from all the people - especially the women - in my life who lifted me up and me feel powerful in an environment where I wasn't supposed to be. I owe these women a lot.
We stan women in this house. Me and my sona are not the substitute for your inability to get pussy. The problem is you; do better.

But this time it really bothered me because the person in question was being extremely out of pocket.
Life is a good teacher though! Enjoy yourself foxy, don't allow them to constantly erode your mood!
