Good morning,
Have an important question I would like to ask you all.
I guess you could say it is anatomy-related.
Now firstly, I would like to make it known that I am NOT a feet enthusiast by all means. Absolutely am not into that shit.
However...
Sometime in the future I am planning some full body pin up commissions of several of my OCs. Their feet will be visible due to it being full-body (and due to the nature of the commissions)
As a means of making the characters' body appearances a bit more creative... I want to add paw marks to the bottom of their feet.
Here's my main concern/question: is 3 toes/4 toes typically the norm for anthro characters?
I tried imagining how a character's feet with paw marks would look if they have 5 toes instead but I just can't figure out how it'd look for the love of my life. It's honestly a bit difficult, more than I imagined.
It seems most anthro characters don't even have 5 toes anyways? Krystal's official model in Star Fox Adventures only uses 3 toes despite her having 5 fingers and another OC I found elsewhere uses 4 toes—latter makes more sense considering most animals only have 4 paw marks on their feet.

And to be totally honest, I don't really think it matters how many toes they have. As long as you like how they look ^^
