Saw talk of Salazzle Day on Twitter and went looking into it. Here's what we found out!

Salazzle Day on February 10th was spurred by this '22 Twitter post from the artist @/littlesuzume in Hong Kong: https://twitter.com/littlesuzume/st.....09434829135874

They used the hashtag #/エンニュートの日 BUT (from Google Translate's findings) the post requested folks not to post 18+ in it.

'Tis understandable; some folks just wanna see wholesome and lovely arts of their fave 'mon! And we're willing to guess that SFW Salazzle content is in relatively short supply >w>;

Of course, lewds are inevitable; have seen a few folks already made or plan on making Salazzle lewds for the day (got wind of it earlier and we wanna do something for it too), so we figured it'd be best to make a distinct hashtag to help keep the original artist's wishes while NSFW artists can still indulge and celebrate the occasion~

With that, we suggest using #SalazzleDay for any NSFW-centric Salazzle arts posted on Twitter and elsewhere!

- As a tangent, we found that some folks on Twitter thought there was a Salazzle Day in March around the 22nd, but we can't find any post or specific mention of it outside of that. It may have just been an influx of Salazzle posting around that particular time or some confusion?

- Think this is the first time we found the origins for a specific "(Pokemon) Day" event! A lotta other ones I just haven't been able to find any origins for, so this is a happy surprise. Was always curious how those events spawned up...
