My mom died in April of 2020.

She was hospitalized and put on oxygen from covid in December of 2019.

I know this because she was complaining of a loss of taste and smell 3 days before hospitalized.

One week later I lost them as well yet was not hospitalized.

I too am sick of people who refuse to take safety precautions and prolonge the virus allowing it to evolve

Mom tried to convince me to go over to her house anyway. She has it too, and if it had just been here there, maybe I would have. But my dad and sister and others were there and they wouldn't leave, and as cynical and angry and tired as I am, I just couldn't bring myself to knowingly expose others to it. That's my dilemma tomorrow if I'm still positive. I REALLY need to get back into school, I'm lost enough as it is on some of these assignments and that's while I was there to attend class. But, I don't want to be the ass who decides "it doesn't matter."

At least not at a school as multicultural as that one. I'd feel bad infecting that particular student body.
