Hello here with another monthly update โฅ Thank you all very much for reading my updates and following + supporting what I do. I really appreciate all the interest in my work โฅ Don't forget you can also follow and support on my ko-fi for exclusive updates and wip pictures. I will post sneak peaks and behind the scene pictures of the things I make. I am also planning to make tutorials and videos to share how things are made ^__^ www.ko-fi.com/sweetsushi
I've been continuing journaling my work and I already feel it works better that I've changed the 10+5 hours to 8+4 hours. It's such a minor change, but has a big impact on me. I feel more accomplished with what I've done, so that's a big boost for my mental state. However winter depression really hits me hard this time though. I have a difficult time finding energy later at the day and my focus early on the day is really bad. I feel I still have allot on my mind and lots of struggles that keeps me from being productive. Especially in January I had so much to process from the past few months and just recovering in general, so it was hard for me finding my way back to work. I have been extremely exhausted and just a very bad concentration for the past couple of weeks. But I am happy I have taken care of allot of things, like posting these updates, making a schedule and contacting my clients.
For January through February I planned to finish my Etsy orders, so that's what I've been doing in the past couple of weeks. I first started with a new prototype hat, which I then took a little break from (I once again kind of underestimated the time needed & was already overtime :P) to pick up some other orders. I finished 2 more miku hats and also a bunch of other inkling hats! Soyeah I've been a busy bee and I am happy that it won't be long until I have finished all orders. Just the 2 new octo hats which I am in the progress of making a prototype for and then 3 more inkling hats!
I have been 2 months without an income due to my shop being closed. So after I (almost) finished all these orders I am planning to open shop again on Friday February 24. I think I will be needing untill the end of the month to finish my current orders, but I am not expecting to receive orders right after I opened shop. I will then slowly update my items in my shop with updated photos. It still needs allot of work and editing though.

Once I've finished my orders and opened shop I will be working on my kigurumi projects. I am hoping to finish one kigurumi in 4 weeks and then after each finished kigurumi I will spend a week on Etsy orders and then back to the next kigurumi project. We will see if this work flow works. It depends mostly how much orders I will bring in from my Etsy (which is mainly my income) and also how long it will take to finish one kigurumi. Kaida's onesie is first in line and I am very much looking forward to work on this design. After I finished that one I will have a better idea of what kind of workflow will work for me. I am also introducing new improved patterns that will include better custom sizing for each individual. I am pretty excited to finally be able to work on these projects and share the finished designs โฅ
I have a few concept designs that still needs to be finished. I have tried to schedule these in, but I've been so tired lately that I haven't found the time or rather energy to make them. But these shouldn't take long at al! So I will be contacting my ko-fi clients soon with an update about their commission. If you read this, I want to apologies for the delay! I hope you all have still a bit of patience with me โฅ Once my Etsy orders are done I should have a better overview and less distractions, so I can focus a bit better on these side projects.
So that was all for this update! ^____^

For my part no worries with the concept design. For me it is just the preparation for your next opening of custom wear to get the hoodie :3 If that happens this year even better :D
