Not a big or special update here, but I got a letter in the mail that says I'll still be getting my SSI for March, since I'm still going through the appeal process. Funnily enough, a couple days ago, I called the SSI office because I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything, and I was told they were still working through it, so seeing this in the mail today was a bit of a relief to me.It could easily only be just for the one month, while the appeal is being worked through, but that's still one more check I didn't have. I'm going to try and save most of that though, just in case I'm required to pay it back, so I'm only using what I absolutely have to out of it. The rest will be left in my account untouched, just to be safe.

If you absolutely have to give anything back, hopefully it's not the whole amount. Another thing to consider is that if you stay on SSI and anything needs to be paid back, they'll probably deduct it from your SSI check for a little bit until it gets paid back. It's annoying as I had that happen to me once, but hopefully it wouldn't be for too long if that were to happen. Still, I'm sure you ARE entitled to something though. The fact that it's taking a while for them to decide can seem to work in your favour as they are probably considering their options, but still it's best to get those check-ups etc. sorted out to fall back on those just in case. But again, at least it's a small bit of progress.
