Covids kicking my ass

General
Got covid, It's been kicking my ass all week, sorry I've not been very active have spent most of the time trying to sleep it off.
Whatever variant this is it's harsher than the one i had before BUT at least it's staying contained in my sinuses and moving down to lungs or anything...so it's polite at least....still.... Hhhhhhhhh
ERF
I'm doing ok just so tired. and snotty.

No lie, I've lost TOO MANY friends to this bug already, and a bunch more are still suffering long-term effects... do me a favor and slam this virus with the rightful PUMMELING it deserves!
Focus on getting you better... EVERYTHING ELSE can take a backseat until then.
...my opinion.
Also, try sinus rinse. Uncomfortable, but useful... also my opinion.
Hope it helps.
Don't let it Choke you!
I hope you feel better soon .w.
Drink plenty of clear fluids, take pain relievers to combat aches and fevers (if you aren't certain which ones are safe to take, depending on how you may or may not react to some of them, consult a doctor!), and rest as much as you can. Be careful with decongestants; you don't want to end up causing a bad cough, or worsening one you already have (again, this is something you need to talk to a doctor about).
If you feel feverish, stay cool; if you feel chills, stay warm. I know that sounds obvious, but it's surprisingly easy to overlook.
Tea, lemon-lime sodas, and sparkling water are good beverage choices. If you don't have an appetite, don't try to eat too much at once, but also don't stop eating --- loss of appetite can last for weeks, or even over a month (ask me how I know). Salty foods and beverages are good remedies, chicken soup in particular is very nourishing and healing. Foods you should minimize are starches (especially wheat products), sugars, dairy, and anything with a lot of fat; these will increase your congestion and/or inflammation.
That's as much as I can think of. Hope it helps!
