The fact that one can change an account's email like that in 2023 is pathetic. It's not something people do every day... why not send a confirmation link, and in case someone lost access to their old email, let the change go through after a suitably long waiting period? Ffs =/

Or... they tried to email about it, perhaps because their support ticket program does that as a means of communication. Which is basically the same thing as not replying.

Last resort, if it were worth the bother, would be to have friends annoy @ TwitterSupport for a while via public tweet.

They sent an email that it had changed. That's it.

Ah, so they're at least that courteous. But I assume said email didn't have any "that wasn't me" link, that sort of thing... that once an adversary logs in, there's nothing to stop them from changing everything and no one has felt like fixing that in the world wide web's history. =/
