You probably didn't burst your eardrum is the good news, it takes a LOT of pressure doing that to do it, and you will get nauseas and throw up before it gets to that point. Typically people only burst their eardrums doing that if they accidentally sneeze while trying to pop their ears.

Im pretty sure I did though, I lost most my hearing in the ear besides a weird echo (tho it is slowly improving through the day) and the pain literally had me in tears ;w; My boss says that its likely something weakened my eardrum prior and that she had something like that happen before too but she had bleeding occur. I dont think it was super severe, because looking up info it said stuff like "if you notice bleeding, have loss of balance, or get nauseous go to the ER" but that those were the possible more severe symptoms of a ruptured eardrum. Also the way I had popped my ears this time was to hold my nose and blow air through it to apply pressure, so it may have been a little too much pressure, but not so much so to make it a large rupture?

Idk I've never had this happen before so I'm just hoping to avoid doing anything that might make it worse while whatever happened heals ;v;

I mean, I pop my ears like that all the time and have put a lot of effort into it when stuffed up. It is possible though, if you don't see improvement definitely go to the doctor.

Ish, I'm very sorry to hear it. I hope that you recover quickly, and that hopefully that pressure will go away too. Definitely agree that if it doesn't improve, for sure see if you can get proper medical care.

Thank you! My hearing is almost fully back in the ear, and I think after the weekend it may be back to normal. Whatever tear that happened it must have been super minimal because I read that normally perforated eardrums take a few weeks to heal.
