In a weird turn of events, I picked up a stray kitten that nearly got hit by three different cars while I was out a couple days ago. Gade went out to take a look at it, after a near miss with a truck almost getting it, and it ran straight to him and into his chest, clung on for dear life and wouldn't let go of him. When he came back to the car, it jumped from him, on to me, and wouldnt let go tell we got back home. Gade and I got a good look at her when we got her home, and determined she was for sure a stray. She has bite and claw wounds all over her neck, back, and side under her fur, and a little on her face. So we bathed her up and cleaned up her wounds, and Gade trimmed her nails, before feeding her. She is a bit under weight, and is really small. So for sure a kitten. Not sure how old, but maybe a few months? She has no concept of what play is at the moment, or what a lot of things are, and is on the skittish side to any form of sounds. But she has warmed up to me and Gade really quick and is never far from either of our sides.

I would like to get some funds together to get her fixed, looked over to make sure she doesn't have any inner infections, or wound infections, checked for worms, and her shots. I think with my vet in the area the total should be roughly around $300 - $400. Gade had just enough left in emergency savings to grab her some food, litter box, and essentials, but not enough for the rest, so I figured I would do what I could to help with that end.
