You pretty much have to be on your computer/phone ready to lock and load as soon as the clock strikes the exact time when the room block opens up to get any chance of getting a room in or close to the convention center, and then pray your connection remains stable throughout the booking process. I remember when AC used to have only a few thousand attendees you could still book a room right up until around 2-3 months before the convention date.

i was able to get a room at the omni last year like a month after rooms opened .this year was crap .every hotel all of them sold out immediately. something isnt right .I know the Westin and courtyard always sold out immediately

More people attending I suppose. After all, its only their 2nd year to open after being closed for 2 years straight due to Covid.
