Hey guys, I hope you are going well.
Just saying that I'll probably keep doing adopts, and only come with ychs when I have mind for that.
I'm not sure what to do by now. I was trying to take care of myself and wait for recover and rest to stop getting sick.
I had a lot of stress last year, the too warm also was not helping me.
My problem with too warm temperature is that I get burns and get dehidrated easily, so I get weak and get sick easier.
The past situation I had last year was mostly with neightboors, I could not sleep well, like.. just sleeping 3 hours~5 hours a day and working with my eyes does not match well.
They was too loud, and when was not that they left the dog tied by days the poor dog barked and howled by hours.
Besides, they really does not like, they was throwing all type of garbage at my area, everyday they was at home. Even on the plants.
Everytime the postman get to deliver something for me, they yelled that there was no one with that name [it only happened to me.] Their issue was with me.
It started probably because I complained to the landlord (that know them) that they was throwing garbage at front of the house,The Land lord suggested that I started to do the same to them.
but I heard that it was a child with autism, they was yelling that at least. I could not do that. The child really had issues, not just autism, and they like to laught at child issue too..
Everyday they was at home they poke my doorbell. I always tried to ignore.. but anyway this was not a fun place at all.
I worked the best I could and tried to ignore, it was one year of this shit.
Little by little it was making get more streessed and tire, to the point of feeling exausted.
So I really needed time to rest.
I used all my saving to get in this home.
Initially it was working, I sleep well and things was starting to improve, but still was getting sick.
I started to get better and stronger this end of February.
But since early March, I did be earing gunshots. Mostly at night.
I get confused because there was a safe place, the max that could happen someone be assaulted..
(in the region I live you can be robbed at any time if you are not careful, unfortunately it happens on all the state.)
Well, this was not the case neither. Not so far there was an invasion, an armed faction took some part of group of houses and apartments as their territory.
The shots I heard was the police trying to quick out them. But this last week things get worse. It was happening around 1km afar from there.
But this week they get too close. They got a comercial area very near here. They walked freely armed with fusil on a road I generally take to go to the grocery around here.
Gladly I was with my boyfriend and the uber, happly they did nothing, but it was really scary, they keep watching to see if no one in the car have a gun, actually they watch everyone that is pass by.
That road looked like a ghost site.. after see that situation I understood why. So even the markets, barbeary, bakery, pharmacy, everything get affected by it, people does not want to go there..
With exception of the bakery I did go last week, things looked like a ghost town, it is less than 1 km from the taken area. There was no guns there, but people are afraid.
Some said that it was a route that the police and car with armed people used.. so.. not sure if I would keep going there. If no, I'll need to go really far to get the basic.
I did go to other place to buy grocery again this last week, with uber again. We needed to buy food and a chair base (to avoid it break again we buy one made of steel, it was expensive as the heck)
Unfortunately the gps/uber take us to a place not much friendly, it was another faction. There if one Faction is attacked by the police, the others get nervous too.
So the most common action is leave someone armed hide in the road. Unfortunately one of these armed guys stopped the car. -if the uber try to escape, he will give a reason to them to shot.
Also, when they see anything shinning inside a car anything metallic, similar to the chair base they generally does not even ask, they just shoot. People die on these places by small mistakes.
Not sure if it was luck or not. My boyfriend had that shinning chair base, on his feet, he was looking to me nervous. I was a bit away was looking for the sky, thinking of what happened on this week but that the sky was beautiful, it looked like nothing had happened. So I look to him, nervous, and saw that someone had stopped the car, and was asking if we got anything dangerous.
Not many know but I'm a woman. I was still thinking on the blue sky, was off my mind what was happening, I don't even saw the gun at being.
I just looked to the guy, looked on his eyes and smiled, I was going to say "Good Afternoon".
But He hide the gun, and tell us to go away. I just noticed after that he was armed, the people on the road was scared as heck.
One old man at the bar was really scared, his expression terrified, they know what could happen. But gladly the armed guy don't saw the steel chair base..
I really just noticed what happened after the uber started to say sorry, that the gps guide him there.
We was really lucky on this situation, because the guy was not pointing the gun to the uber or anything.
By what people and uber say those armed guys generally do a lot of question and inspect everything, so I'm really grateful that this guy just let us go.
I try to get inspiration in everything, even on the blue sky, any place that I can look and feel some happines and relate to something, I can draw.
But this was really scary, I don't even notice the guy with the gun. This had been crazy days..
I tried to open for commission but... these things happening the thinking that my boyfriend could be shoot that, this is so.. awkward, everything was okay.
Ironicaly I had a dream at February that this area, including the house I live in, that is a rented house, and that I can't leave because the contract, and because I spend everything I saved to get off that other house with the crazy neightboors, and I'm on that place now. This dream probably was a warning or something, I'll take that as an advice to take extra care when going off.
I was walking alone to the grocery, but after that dream I started to see suspicious people around, and just in case I was not going alone anymore..
I dont take the dream so seriously, anyway what could I do?!
My boyfriend does not took it seriously too when I said, now that he saw people with fusil on the road in less than 1 km near where I live, he took it a bit more seriously.
I have faith, I believe in more than what I can see, I believe on my instincts, spirits and stuff, if you see some of my last adopts you can notice that I'm at least curious about this.
Even when people does not believe on what I can see or hear, I respect that. I'm not paranormal or something, but something I have those 'warnings'. But again I can't do nothing.
I was hopping that stuff could get better but, not sure how it will be this month, at wake up twice with sounds of gunshot today.
There was gunshots at night yesterday and at twilight too.
I was waiting that it was just a fuzz that things was going to get better, but it seems to be not getting better. Was avoiding places like that since the start of the pandemic.
With the pandemy the price of rent was really high, this was the only house that looked safe and it was not so problematic, and that I could pay for it. After all I'm not on the same rhythm.
I really not sure what to do by now, can't do nothing, just can pray for a better day now.
The head of those factions probably just want to sell their drugs, those that stay armed on the road are the first to be shot.
Not sure why they accept that, but they are humans too just like the one that stopped the car. If they was bad at the heart they would not set us free like that.
They maybe are not even alive anymore. It began this month, but this last week there was gunshots every day.
The only I can do is to pray that those leaders give up on here and retreat their armed guys, they use adolescent, and even child to hold a gun. (Not little childreen, but around teen years old..not sure)
Near where I live they are using only young adults.. and adults.
If the police aim and shot, they are turn in assassins, if they kill they loose their job.. if they does not shot they are leaving their task, and are punished.
The best those policeman can do is to shoot wrong or on no vital area...
They are a bit far, not much, but its still enought to hear the shots.
So this is what I have to say, I'll only work on the refs I accepted, and will not be taking on reference sheets anymore.
Maybe I get back to ychs, and the only I can do by now are adopts. Mostly using the same pose and editing the lines, and you know, recoloring and bringing them to life.
This is the best I can do by now, and I'll try the best I can.

I'm glad you and your boyfriend are okay. I think you took a big positive step in moving away from your neighbors so you don't have to deal with them anymore. The events you encountered are very scary. I pray that you and your boyfriend will remain safe and happy as you continue to do what makes you feel happy and safe.
