Most Adopts I see on this site are front view only accompanied by a small panel showing off the basic colors of the design. There are also a bunch of Ref sheets with a front and back view and sometimes an additional expression. I believe it really depends on your personal preferences, what your costumers expect from you and how much time you can spend making those. So far you seem to be doing well with front view refs of your outfits so I think you can easily continue like that. Maybe you can throw in some back views as well to test the waters!^^

You could try starting with a front view, with an option to upgrade to a full ref
My favorites are kangaroos, kitsunes, snow leopards and cows

I like a reference sheet with a fullbody front view and a partial back view so you can see the colors/markings of the character, my most favorite critters are alicorns, unicorns, Pegasus dragons, and wolves.

Full body view, front is common but back views are nice, also like reference or single pin-up.
Mostly interested in big/hyper breast females
Species: dinosaurs, elephants, dragons, foxes, bears, cats, dogs, sheep, monkey, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles

A full ref sheet is great to see, as a fully flushed out character is better for when you go to commission an artist, at least based on my experience.
Just ask yourself, "What would I want a reference given to me to look like so I can accurately draw the character in question?"

As for species? You can never go wrong with the basics, but going towards lesser used species can be good too. But, working with what you're comfortable to start with is the best advice I can give.

Otherwise? Sergals, Foxes, Big Cats, Wolves, Skunks, Rats, etc. That's the kind of thing I tend to look at first. ^^;

A lot of the adopts that I’ve seen and purchased usually just have the front view. The back view isn’t really necessary unless you want to portray something unique about the character(tattoo, stripes, spots, etc). But what usually attracts me to certain adopts is vibrant colors.

I think if a ref sheet with backview is added as an extra option, people can choose whether or not they want it ^^
