Well no, not really, he actually did get indicted.
What does this mean? Well if you listen to news at all, we dont know the extent of the allegations so its a little too early to judge the outcome but heres what will happen however: Trump will be either arrested or will turn himself in voluntarily. He will be treated like any other arrest and will have to fill out some paperwork. I imagine he'll be bailed out immediately until the trial so he can merrily whip up his crazy-ass followers to continue getting money out of them (because, yeah, theyre that stupid.)
What I am seeing though is ....a whole lotta nothing from the MAGA side of things. Sure folks are vehemently protesting and threatening on every social platform on the internet but..................... not seeing much else. Nothing to indicate someones fool enough to take a gun and start killing in Trump's name. I think theres supposed to be some kind of protest in New York City Monday but.... i doubt thats gonna turn violent at all. NYPD is on standby. If it DID turn violent, if people start losing lives out there, its gonna do more harm than good. We were lucky not too many people died in the January 6th insurrection attempt. if it had been a bloodbath, lets face facts here, gang, Trump would have been hauled off to federal prison by now.
It concerns me though that the "grand ole party" is supporting someone STILL...for breaking the law. And not just once. This first indictment is 34 counts. And its not just Stormy, I guarantee that.
Then we have the grand jury in Georgia, where Trump has a very good chance of facing more charges, like extortion, bribery, financial fraud. The whole "Stop the Steal" campaign will likely be proven completely fraudulent as well, and then there's Trump Org's fraud, E. Carroll's rape trial that can move forward, the multiple counts of fraud while in office...........
And still the GOP sides with him..........?

And yet.... i really dont think theyre stupid. I think theyre all just looking for 15 minutes of fame and figure Trump is key to it. They want the adulation and attention because theyre lives are just that meaningless to them. I can picture a lot of these MAGA morons up and committing mass suicides when Trump finally shakes his mortal coil.

Pence is not going to appeal a subpoena ordering his testimony about the January 6th Insurrection attempt and will talk.
Several Secret Service agents have apparently also decided they will cooperate with officials about Trump's actions/statements before, during and after January 6th.

It's interesting, the Secret Service seems pretty divided. Some of them are pro Trump, some are definitely not.
This is still gonna be a tough case for them to prove and win, though, because of them taking misdemeanor charges and having to convince everybody that they qualify as felonies by being considered as campaign contributions. Definitely possible though.
Then there's the issue of getting a serious sentence. The other pending cases are a lot more serious, though.
The woes are just beginning. If Drumph's smart, he "Epstiens" in dramatic fashion. :D
Because the rest of his life is gonna be spent either in court or prison.
Not what I would call much of a life.
He's used to law trouble, but not having to appear in court. He wasn't happy about that at all this time. And this current case is the least of those he faces.
* -- As long as we're smart next year and don't let DeSantis win the Republican nomination. In fact, if Trump tries to flee to Florida, then the backlash against DeSantis (who has said he would not allow Trump to be extradited from Florida) would most likely guarantee a Democratic victory in 2024.
No way in hell he gets the GOP nomination. :D
Now just expand the Senate and House, and its smooth sailing for America.
As for the House, I'd expand it to 1,776 Representatives, a fitting and very symbolic number, don't you think?

There will be protestors and counterprotestors, as well as copious press. The place is already crawling with cops, and there have already been protests of varying size, although Tuesday will probably be a real sight to see. Looking forward to those vids.
He'll be spared the indignities of a cavity search or being dressed in an orange suit, or having to wear ankle, wrist, and waist chains for his arraignment, unlike what the the rest of us have to undergo in such a case.
He'll be mugshotted, (Can't wait to see that!) printed, possibly DNA swabbed, and released on OR after his arraignment, since he won't be considered a flight risk, although he could clearly find a home in Russia at this point. His bloated ego will obviously still keep him here at this point, though, since he's clearly going to keep on pursuing his doomed presidential campaign, if for no other reason than the good, good, $ which that will earn him. After all, he's already raised probably five million plus on the back of his indictment from his bootlickers already.
A leaker said that one of the indictments is for a felony, so there's that.
The reactions on both sides are pretty predictable. Restrained (Or somewhat less restrained) gleeful reactions from those that think that this is long overdue, and impotent faux outrage from his diehard and/or self-deceived right wing supporters.
And yeah, this is just the appetizer in the coming full course meal.
