I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who voted in the 2022 Ursa Major Awards. I appreciate the support, and I also hope that you took the opportunity to check out the other nominees in the different categories, because there's some really fine work on display there.
While it's an award for anthro art and literature, the Ursas need the support and participation of viewers like you (to steal a tag line from PBS). Being a People's Choice Award, the more folks who cast their votes, the more "valid" the results will be.
It's also a medium for drawing attention to the hard-working artists who produce the stuff that keeps much of the furry fandom going. For those who win, it's a big deal.
The voting is now closed, and the results will be announced in about a month, so...stay tuned!

Or for that matter, how can you "judge" between, say, Peanuts and Prince Valiant? (Yes, I'm dating myself here, but bear with me.) One comic strip is simplistically drawn, mostly comedic, daily strip, while the other is highly detailed artwork with an ongoing, dramatic plot that only comes out on Sundays. Peanuts however has an enormous audience, while Valiant appeals to a far smaller audience. Which one is the "best" comic strip? Why? Based on what criteria? Do you judge by artistic merit, or by how many people donate to the artist's Patreon? Or by how many followers on Twitter or Facebook the artist has?
When you get right down to it, anthro art is like a buffet, and it's really hard to decide what's the "best" in any category.
