Seeing the Mario Movie today (hopefully) as a birthday treat but holy shit are these reviews all over the place. Right now its a split between hard-core Nintendo/Mario fans and people who wanted a more expensive story/lore. I'm going with a open mind and hoping for the best.

Never expected a movie about Super Mario to have the most amazing story anyways. It's goddamm Mario not The Last of Us.
