And they teased some kind of Furry village. Is it there for a minute joke? Plot related? Pandering to a trend? Be interesting to see what they do with that. Though, I thought in their universe, Rocket and couple other former animals were made out of an experiment. Is this the village of the progress of said experiment or are they going past a lot of simply green and blue Humanoids?

I don’t remember the exact details myself. But it looks like they are taking some from this. Which is my we may see more animals. The comics themselves I think are from the seventies or eighties I want to say.
