So my Discord got hacked yesterday

It happened twice. First time being a fake link to get free Nitro, and the second being some random TikTok video that isn't even a video. Almost all my mutual friends got these messages and I had to delete them all.
Another thing, I was told to change my password and it seems to have worked so far. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, or I swear to God I'll quit Discord forever.

Make sure to run a scan on your system, just to be safe. People don't just hack accounts for the fun of it and probably have some ulterior motive such as acquiring personal data from you.

Make sure to use the Authenticator app, so that way if the hacker does get your account, they can’t get in dude to the extra step they don’t have.

doesn't make any sense, a token log is a token log. 2FA is skipped, direct access is possible with it.

by changing your password your old token is invalid. run a malwarebytes scan on your system or better, reinstall windows. and stop falling for scams and shit.

Sadly this is the truth. If the hackers really embedded themselves deep the safest option would be a factory reset.
