It's been one year to the day since my fluid build up and subsequent hospital stay. I'm doing better, just taking it day by day.

I have my good and bad days with the meds they have me on. It's a 50/50 thing. I just try and ride it out. My dogs help and the horses here also help. Plus my friends online and local. The local don't know about furry and seems there aren't any local furries anymore.

I haven't been able to write still. Makes it hard plus I have extra work with the horses. One pregnant mare and hopefully she should be foaling in the next few weeks. Plus a nearly 4 year old stud who is a handful but a lovable goof. He's a Brabandt cross.

He's going to fill out so he is going to weigh over 2000 lbs. Loves his attention and needs a long brushing to get his remaining winter coat off him. He has such an animated face when you are giving him attention. Does mid air nibbling. Just watch she he walks, his hooves are about 10 inches across. It's kind of amazing how an animal that big can walk that quietly.
