Loved those stories, and totally makes sense to think about changing the terminology—on the one hand it's cute and hot and kinky, but at the same time "mareboi" can undercut the more serious notes.

Maybe some variation of "gravo" or "impleo", Latin for impregnate? Like "Oh, he's a gravo, perfect for breeding". Or maybe "oestro" to go with an alternative variation of "estrus"?

Yeah I was looking for something a little more serious for when certain dialog calls for it.

But huh, that gravo and impleo had a lot of potential! I hadn't thought to use Latin like that, which would make sense because I wanted something a bit more scientific.

Alternatively, you could also go with some variation of "ferax" (Latin for "fertile") or "mitra" (anglicized version of Greek for "womb")—the scientific angle is a fun one to explore, for sure, and both languages lend themselves really well to it. Happy to be a sounding board for you to bounce further ideas off of!

I think that they shouldn't turn into a twink, yes the average "marebois" do have a more feminine/twinkish body type, but there would be signs that a male is a "mareboi" such as having softer facial features, wider hips, a less potent musk with a hint of breeding pheromones, zero to little/fine "body hair", and even bigger nipples.
A "mareboi" can still look like a masculine jock but when compared to a real male of the same species you can spot the differences.
Of course they'd be wracked with a monthly or yearly heat, depending on how high their testosterone levels are, that will produce more of the breeding pheromones than musk drawing the attention of adult males who smell it.

I mean, they'll never be twinks. That's not something I'm really into. Girlyboy chubs, sure, but I don't ever see myself doing that.
