Me: I think I want to start a new Elden Ring playthrough.
Me: Oh jeez I really have improved since my first playthrough. Oooh maybe I'll go fight the Fallingstar Beast in Caelid!
Me, after barely being able to land a hit on the damn thing and burning through all my resources, then dying with it on one sliver of health: "Okay so time to gain 100 more levels and come back to destroy this fucker just before I fight Malenia."
It's good to be back in the Lands Between lmao
(Also in case anyone is curious, Str Arc build. I want to be an immovable tank that demolishes with bleed damage. My character name is Bocchi, because she will be an absolute Rock!)

At least the combat on horse is kinda broken, and the open world factor allows you to kill minor bosses from the distance like a clever coward :p
That being said, if it's not as a comparison to Hollow Knight but just "do I think Elden Ring is a game worth trying?" hell yeah I do. I just don't want to give you the impression that just because ER and HK are both incredible games known for their difficult boss battles and cool lore/worldbuilding, they're a perfect match for all players. :)
