Oh Twitter
I can happily say I'm glad I never made an account on Twitter to post my work.
I swear, the discourse that goes on there in regards to the fandom is ridiculous. Post one suggestive piece of artwork of a cartoon canine and you suddenly have dozens of puritan teenagers with chronically-online syndrome gathering the forces to CALL YOU OUT FOR BEIN' BAAAAAAAAAD!!!
THEY MUST PURGE THE FANDOM OF ALL EVILS WITHOUT EVIDENCE!!!
The inability for certain people to seperate a drawing from real-life is just crazy lol

We fought off the Burned Furs once; we can do it again.
Makes me glad they never really show up at cons!
Nah, appearantly it's a better idea to post it on Twitter for praise! Bunch of idiots lol
Twitter is DESIGNED to SMASH your outrage buttons for engagement. So the shit just gets deeper.
No idea what happened, and I have no desire to :p
Sadly though.. it's were the people are and where any hope of growing an audience is..
So glad these people don't/can't come to the conventions.
They're like PETA. They believe they have good intentions, but but everyone outside their little circles sees them as crazy extremists lol
"Person sees art depicting an act that, if it were to happen in the real world, would be highly illegal. Said person immediately attributes the depiction of said artwork as a genuine intent of the person depicted in the same artwork, or the artist who created the same artwork, to either endorse said actions, or commit or have committed the actions depicted therein.
Person blurs the line between fantasy and reality and treats them as one in the same, thus their mental gymnast routine is complete, and they can confidently and righteously proclaim that their view is irrefutably correct and see themselves as a hero for speaking out against the fictitious act of the accused they had created in their own mind."
How close to the mark am I?
Nearly dead on, my friend. Internet warriors looking for digital backpacks for their horribly misguided efforts lol
Yeah I have been hate blocked and called a zoophile because I said there is nothing wrong with drawing monster porn, dragon porn, pokemon porn etc. It's like they cannot separate reality from a drawing.
My favorite thing to throw at them

I mean, one's experience largely depended on who one followed, but yeah, lately it just looks so awful.
It's also a really terrible place to showcase one's art. It really wasn't meant for art at all. Like, trying to look at someone's old posts felt impossible.
