small update
I came into work today as this was the 2nd week of intense back pain to the point I couldn't work and I finally was able to go to urgent care since I hurt myself on the job (it was reported but at the time it didn't hurt me that bad and I thought it was a strain or a knot)
at first I thought it was a minor pull but as the pain became worse through self-treatment, I finally couldn't stand it anymore today
seems when I was working and squatting down, I ended up rotating my pelvis and dislocating it to the point one of my legs became shorter than the other
they sent me home with several medications, so now I'm just kind of in a state of what do I do
still dunno if they'll put me on medical leave (worker's comp) bc my restrictions are so many due to the injury itself
my work is a place that likes to "compensate for anything" so they don't just hand it out
not sure what they will have me do...hoping I can just stay home but we'll see.
I'll be putting out adopts regardless, I've missed work because of the pains and my medical situation, just hoping things clear up soon...I have a lot of anxiety lately ugh

I have a disorder where I partially dislocate my joints doing basically anything, and that's not an exaggeration. Even sitting. Lol. I find that a heating pad provides some amount of relief, so if you have one and the meds aren't helping completely you should give that a try.
This is new territory for me to be honest... I'm a bit scared to damage it further, and I have quite an independent nature, so asking for help is beyond me sometimes but I have to take my time and ask now anyway, because I am deathly afraid to make it worse...LOL
I will be investing in a heating pad soon ^^ thanks for the suggestion!
Your situation sounds extremely stressful, learning new skills while coping with an injury is really hard. As long as you don't over exert yourself when doing things on your own, and can find it in yourself to ask for help when it's too much for you, I believe that you'll heal from this just fine. I'm sure the people that love you would rather help you than risk your injury worsening.
