Ive had something almost the exact same happen, minus the note.
I look at someone's awesome drawing of their OC, I comment "Dang, that looks cool!" (Obviously paraphrasing because I wouldn't remember what I said a month ago...) And the next post of theirs I see, which I didn't notice was also theirs, I try to comment again. It turns out they blocked me. I'm just sitting there, so confused, but I just shrug it off. I haven't seen anything else they've posted, so chances are they've abandoned the site, but yeah, some people confuse me.

I'm glad I am not the only one who has had this happen to them 😭😭😭 it's so strange but in a funny kind of way, like why put your art online if you get mad that people react to it? And in both of our cases it's not like we said or did anything mean- those were both positive and respectful reactions! I unfavorited their art and was going to go explain to them why I liked it initially, but I couldn't since they had blocked me hours after the fact. They also put in their bio "stop faving my damn art it's annoying" afterwards for people to see, there's no need to be an asshole over something like that 😒😒 guess the trash took itself out. I just ended up blocking them. But I hope your day went well, Lucario.

Do you get notifications when someone faves your art? If so then that's probably what they meant.

That’s good! Mine was good, took a test for American History (it was non-cumulative so not really a final exam) and now I’m working on a project for statistics; and yeah, I get notifications whenever someone interacts with me, but they could’ve just deleted them if it was a problem instead of acting weird but eh idk

Yeah, things like that will happen. The internet is a weird place filled with weird people (like me!) after all. Anyway, don't let that interaction discourage you since there was no way you could've known that was going to be their reaction.

What a thing to be hung up on too. Faves are one of the primary ways to communicate you like something on this site so RIP to him I guess!

That's never happened to me on here but I know people on ToyHouse get super fricken weird about faves so maybe they're from there??? (LIke, I swear half the porfiles I see are like "DO NOT FAVE ANY OF MY CHARACTERS EVER" lol. Some people are w e i r d about being interacted with though so I'm not shocked.

Lmao I remember her caption was something along the lines of “fuck off tumblr bitches” so I assume she’s from tumblr or something 😵‍💫 idk 😭 also hi Sparrow!!!!! :)
