My first Star Wars Experience

Happy Star Wars Day, May 4th, y'alls! ^^
'Fore I get started, I wanted to get this outta the way, get the Bantha outta room so to speak. Cuz I don't want the comment section to devolve into a fan war, God forbid.
Since I was 6 to 7, I've always considered myself a casual Star Wars fan. For those who know me, you know I'm not one of those 'True Fans' that will harp on the Special Editions. I'm not one of those fans who'll constantly debate who'll be who if enough medichlorians. I'm not one of those fans who'll go over ya with a sign that says; "Han Shot First!" Seriously, what the hell was that about? I'm not one of those fans that'll keep worshipping the proverbial balls of 'Empire Strikes Back' while shunning the other movies, just cuz' it's daaaaaark'. I am definitely not one of those fools that'll shout 'WOKE' in the severe case of verbal diarrhea when it comes to any sort of gal in anything Star Wars. And I refuse to lower myself to the level of assholery of the jackasses who actually wanna commit physical harm to children who likes 'Rise of Skywalker'. Yes, this is actually a thing! If I stated this once, I've stared this more than once! Nobody hates Star Wars more than its own fans!
As for me, I love the original and the sequel trilogies. I could make a journal based on that, but what'll always win me over for both trilogies is the characters. That's right, I love the sequel trilogy, and you're not gonna make me change my mind. I've seen and heard all the reasons why some don't like it. Some are legit, but most are so completely asinine. Yeah, I got complaints too, but it's really just nitpicky. And I feel that way for the original trilogy too, especially for EVERYBODY'S favorite 'Empire Strikes Back'. Don't get me wrong I do love the movie, but it really ain't dark like people make it out to be. I wish people would stop putting this franchise itself on such a high pedestal, especially 'Empire Strikes Back'. None of these movies are perfect. That goes for the prequel trilogy. Several years ago, I made my dissertations on why I don't like the prequels, and no it ain't cuz of 'new vs old'. I didn't wanna hate these movies, and I don't want to hate on these movies. The problem with the prequel trilogy is that the problems are so glaring that it just hampers a good viewing. The prequels just feel so lifeless and lethargic to me. Hell the scene where Ben Solo's talking with ghost Han Solo in 'Rise of Skywalker' had more emotion that any 'love scenes' in 'Attack of the Clones. And that's the biggest problem I'll always have with the prequels. The characters are either being boring, unlikeable, and often times both. Sure, the prequels have world-building, but is it really worth the journal whilst with a crazy, whiny Anakin? But that doesn't go for some of the side characters, I'm happy we're seeing Bail Organa in other movies and shows. Now the prequels aren't unwatchable, if I ever wanna check them out, I will see 'Phantom Menace' and 'Revenge of the Sith'. 'Attack of the Clones', I will NEVER see that thing ever again. To me it's the worse of the prequels, though if I had a choice to watch that over 'Son of the Mask'... yeah, I'll suck it up. But even then, for those who'll rag on your least favorite Star Wars movie, go watch the 'Holiday Special' then get back to me.
As for me when it comes to the shows? I hated the 'Clone Wars' movie, so I never watched the show, but have seen the final seasons on Disney+ that gave it the proper ending it needed. But from that, I absolutely fell in love with Ahsoka, and I'm glad we're getting a show of her. Rosario Dawson is AWESOME! I loved 'Star Wars Rebels' while I was watching it on TV 'fore we got Disney+. I'm glad we're getting all these Star Wars shows on Disney+. 'Obi-Wan' has cleared up issues I've had from in-between 'Revenge of the Sith' and 'New Hope'. I love 'Bad Batch', 'The Madolorian', and 'Book of Boba Fett'. Caught a couple episodes of 'Tales of the Jedi' last night, and I gotta say.... Master Yaddle.... *whistles* Where am I going with all this, further demonstrating what a windbag I can be yet again? Cuz Star Wars show of movie is someone's first. And I wanted to share my first experience. ^^
Now I don't think I'm remembering this correctly, but I was 'round 6 or 7, I'm starting to watch 'Muppet Babies' when it was on Nick Jr back in the 90s. The show spliced in certain movie clips, including Star Wars. It was also at that time, my dad was watching it on TV, and he was collecting micro machine figures of the ship for a model he was making at that time. We had movie-watching Fridays in my old school, and the teacher asked us if we wanted to see 'Return of the Jedi'. I asked myself what was that and before my mom picked me up from school, I had gotten to see Vader walked down that shuttle ramp, and from then on I was hooked! From then on, I watched the other movies, collected the toys, even made a model of Mos Eisley where I stole sand from my school's sandbox in Ziploc bags XD
So yeah, I do love Star Wars, and I'm looking forward for more of it. I'm gonna be season season 2 of Star Wars Visions here soon. I really do need to see 'Andor' tho XD And if there's a Finn show on Disney+, I'm checking it out. Side note, there were actual discussions on how Jar-Jar Binks is somehow a better character than Finn. Your opinion is valid, but that don't mean I don't think it's objectably wrong when proof is in the pudding on why that ain't remotely true. But I digress.
So what was your first Star Wars experience, lemme know in the comments below. And people... don't make it into a comment fan war. That's what got the cesspit that were the IMDb message boards rightfully taken out. Just keep it simple, and lemme know your favorite alien species in Star Wars. ^^
Thanks for your time, and May the 4th be with y'all ^^

FA+

And been re-reading a lot of the Legends books too, namely the X-wing series of books.
Speaking of, seen the mod for X-wing Alliance that was basically a refresh of the TIE Fighter game?
I frickin' love the X and A wings ^^
And no ^^
Knights of the old republic 2 is the best written game I have ever played, however: if you have the chance to grab it, it and the first one are like $3.50 on GOG right now
https://www.gog.com/en/game/star_wa.....the_sith_lords
But for the love of God get the restored content mod if so: even the developers recommend it
Not the version with m4-78 tho
