The hearing is done. It will be 2-4 weeks before I have the decision. I am emotionally drained.

I'm going to be honest here. It actually makes me feel worse knowing this is being dragged out longer, but at least the hearing itself is over, so THAT stress is done.

I understand how waiting even longer is even more stressful, but the fact that it's taking them this long must mean that they are not taking this whole thing lightly. They are hopefully considering what decision would benefit you as well as their department but who knows?
