Patreon stretch goal update (May 2023)

Apparently Patreon is suddenly getting rid of their Goals feature on creator pages as of next week, which means my stretch goal to do an animated prompt is no longer going to be visible or recorded on my page.
I still wanna do it tho (we're currently sitting at about $720 out of 850, last I checked), so I posted a quick update about it that you can read here if you want:

yeah, this one's really baffling. was this feature REALLY costing them so many resources that they had to kill it in order to add Useless New Superfluous Livestream/Merch/Publishing Feature #578? we may simply never know
"nobody who works here any more knows the language it was written in" feels all too possible tbh, web development is such a mess now. So does "someone needed something that looks good on their quarterly review".
