I’m bummed I’m missing out FWA so feel free to ask me/Laurel questions~! Naughty or nice; it matters not! I’ll answer whatever I feel comfy with until I get bored!!
Sorry you're missing FWA! Wished I could go as well but just too much going on.
My question is this:
(1) Given a hypothetical object of infinite mass and infinitesimal size, and (2) given an object of infinitesimal mass yet infinite size, and (3) given these objects collide at near-relativistic velocity, what is your favorite flavor of Otter Pop?
Oh man, I really REALLY like medieval West Africa, specifically Mali. I'm also a fan of Mesoamerica, early modern European history, and most any era of Chinese history! Most any period of American history is surprisingly interesting but I'm biased as an American.
Those all sound very interesting. I myself lean towards Renaissance-era Europe, though Egypt, Greece, Rome, China, Japan, India and Mesoamerica (mostly the Incas and Aztecs, with a smattering of Maya) have gotten some looks in. I confess to a fair amount of ignorance about the societies around the Sahara (I’ve heard some tales of Mansa Musa, but that’s about it), but perhaps I might expand on that someday. As to the US, I have also enjoyed some glimpses into its past (and I’m not entirely free of bias on that score either).
