oouuuuuuffghhh FWA was WILD and so much fun 😭😭😭😭 i basically livetweeted it on my twitters, but not everyone follows me there so i'll lay down some of the highlights:

— after a very rocky start with a freaky hotel room situation, i was adopted by Drazin and his friends, who, i can't stress this enough, were the best roommates and friends a bug/raccoon could ask for through the rest of the con

— the Moonlight Festival was VERY fucking lit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i saw so much latex it kinda made me jealous, but i got complimented on my kink fit (shiny spandex, cuffs, and some other accessories) which made me feel very good. there was music, drinking, dancing, demonstrations, and vendors selling all sorts of kink and smut wares. i bought a cool knife

— spent way too much money at the Artist Alley/Dealer's Den tbh 💀 i also had no idea during the con that the Artist Alley is,,,, like,,,, just a thing that any artist can do???? so now i'm like, well shit, i mean,,,,,,, maybe? sometime in the future? i could do that?

— met up with several friends and met several new ones! quite honestly, it was intimidating at first because it's like... you're being confronted with the real and imperfect humans behind these idealized fursonas/characters, and that's scary if you're not used to it or have unrealistic expectations. but over the course of the weekend i accepted and adapted to it all, loosened up and came out of my shell a lot; the vibe is just so much different in person, in a good way, there's so much more you can do, and now i'm like damn holy shit I wanna meet all my friends IRL now ::D i'm sad that i didn't get to hit every friend on my list that attended, but maybe next time

— took as many pics of/with fursuiters that i could remember to, and while i didn't run into some of the people i was hoping to, i DID have chance encounters with a few familiar faces that i didn't even know were going to be there, so that was fun!

— i got to observe and participate in some Funny Antics, nothing objectively super wild or even all that explicit but definitely more action than I thought I was gonna see 😊

i feel like i got very lucky with FWA as far as a first furcon experience goes. it was incredible, honestly kinda life-changing in a way, and my savings account is totally dry now but I'm already daydreaming about my next con, whenever/wherever it ends up being. worst case scenario, FWA 2024 for sure ::)
