I’m back from FWA 2023 + Small commission update !

I have returned from FWA !
Well to be exact I returned home sometime on Tuesday morning around 1 AM after an 11 hour drive back from leaving the convention on Monday. Up until now I've been too tired and I still haven’t even unpacked anything yet. Even though the drive there and back was a long one we all had a super fun time driving from Michigan to Georgia with
, Tokki Bunny & Zener . Personally I really enjoyed the drive because we traveled through 5 states to get there and I’ve always wanted to go on a road-trip like this and it was even better with a few other furries that are close friends of mine.
My overall convention experience was a hella good one and I got to revisit a convention I haven’t been to since 2014. I honestly never knew I could miss a convention like I did with FWA and PCD is definitely hitting hard right now for me. I had so much fun meeting new people, meeting up with friends I haven’t seen in months / years & also making some new friends along the way. The dances were amazing bangers EVERY NIGHT running from Midnight until 3 AM and every hour there was a different DJ which I thought was a great idea especially with the visuals effects that were added since I last attended. Also I did get some pictures and videos during the convention that I am thinking about posting on my furaffinity account. OH and I even got to meet my fursuit maker
in person to chat & walk together when we went to go pick-up some parts for my partner ’s fursuit commission from them !
Ya the convention had some problems when the first day of the convention started and alot of the rooms weren’t ready yet so people had to wait to check-in & the fact we had some elevator problems and some broke down for periods of time. However you got to look at this way FWA staff was dealing with alot of new things once CDC guidelines dropped, but they also had a 40% growth in attendance this year too so this was something staff had to deal with and figure things out for. Please do not always jump to blame con staff first as sometimes it’s on the attendees part of things.
Also convention attendees of all kinds need to look out for one another when it comes to elevator usage when con staff cannot, that means if you see someone struggling, someone that is disabled / handicapped or if they are a fursuiter you NEED to give them priority to the elevators as there is a reason why they are trying to get on the elevators as fast as they can. FURRIES can you PLEASE just start forming nice neat lines when you are wanting to use the elevators at conventions AND DON'T STAND in front of the elevators or cutting in front of people that have been waiting either, especially if they are disabled / handicapped & fursuiters. I know you have places to be but so do others, please wait your turn like everyone else.
Nonetheless I will for sure be attending FWA in 2024 as the theme will be Furry University 2: Homecoming and I feel it fits perfectly since when I attended FWA for the first time ever was back in 2014 and the theme was Furry University. In my mind it kinda has a nice little “reunion” or “anniversary” energy going on for it and I can't wait for next year already ! uWu

However, I am going to have to delay this start back to work as I still need to unpack everything before I can and I'm still very exhausted after everything, but I will for sure be resuming work no later than by May 20 th.

I loved meeting ya too, Just im so sorry about being hella shy. However next time I bump into ya at a furcon, i'd love to get a picture together if your okay with that of course !
