I am against the new rules
FA staff, if you're listening, which you clearly are not, I am stating publicly that I am against your arbitrary and fucking idiotic "guidelines" on what characters personally give you an icky feeling because -- *checks notes* -- their torsos are too small.
These rules are draconian and ill-informed and will severely damage what little trust your user base still has in this platform. Labeling just about every artist on this platform a pedophile because they drew cute characters is so incredibly stupid I can't even formulate an argument against it. There's nothing to debate here, you're a bunch of fools if you go through with this.
I used to hold you in higher regard than DeviantArt but at least they don't ban characters for being short. I never thought I could find something positive to say about goddamned DeviantArt but you made me do it.
This is my declaration of backlash. You are receiving backlash.

Artists are complaining that their artwork of adult characters (including anthro corgis and the like) is going to be slapped with the "pedophilia" label because of short/stoutness. They *don't* want to be associated with pedophiles.
Going to a website that openly welcomes pedophilia doesn't seem like a better option.
So yeah, considering to clean off the dust around my alt DA acc when the time arrives. I wish you good luck really.
He'd be the first one to oppose this rule, if he had some sort of immunity, we all know that.
Plus, such rule can be abused by either ultra-biased admins or mass reporting trolls.
