Before anyone starts in the comments going "You must be a pedophile if you don't like these rule changes." Nope, I am a CSA survivor and I have always been very vocal about what I do and don't support. I do not, nor will ever find minors or child-coded characters attractive. And if this was a ban solely on that, I would just be singing the site's praises, but as you read on you will find this new rule change isn't that simple. It can affect literally anyone.

Also no, I don't care if it's something you like or something you hate. I literally could not care less what someone does in their spare time as long as it's not hurting real living things. Don't agree with that? Fine but don't try and debate me in the comments because I won't read it (UvU)


So, some of you might have spotted in my most recent upload I mentioned the picture might be getting the nuke in a few hours depending on things out of my control.

If somehow you haven't seen the news. At the start of this year Furaffinity had announced to be cracking down on Cub/Child like characters in porn. Now, this is something I did not have a problem with, who would right? I've never been a supporter of characters that are underaged drawn in NSFW So I welcomed this change because supposedly it was always against their TOS and they were finally cleaning up their act and people who like that stuff can go somewhere I don't have to see it... (Mind you the small handful of reports I have done for this site containing characters like Tails and Cream from Sonic drawn poorly has been allowed to stay up because "It's not on model" despite the fact it's drawn as a child so you could be a skeptic and say this rule has been just to pacify the loud vocal minority and not actually take action. Shocking thought I know.)

However it's come out today that it's no longer about actual characters with child-like proportions, but it's being extended to Pokemon and Digimon creatures too. Did they list any examples? Well no, that's the fun part reader! They claim it's based on both intent on if it's meant to be a child and the art style. But when you're someone like me where you attempt to get the art style as close to the shows/games as possible, you can see the issues start to form.

For example, I was told personally, by a mod in my ticket that almost all the pictures I was concerned about were 100% within the new guidelines and would not get me banned. Yippee..?

See, in my ticket I asked them to tell me where the line is drawn between say... Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu. All three of them are small rodents. If it's just Pichu is it because it's classed as a baby pokemon?

Here is the direct quote I got from the staff: "No, we don't have a specific "list" of Pokemon that we will remove regardless of how they are drawn. However, some do appear canonically as children, and therefore, would likely be removed depending on how they are represented in artwork posted. For example, pichu, in its canonical form, appears childlike. Therefore, we would remove NSFW content of a canonically-represented pichu. Pikachu and raichu do not appear to be children canonically. They just look like mice."

However a few hours pass and I have a bad feeling in my stomach which isn't indigestion so I check Twitter, sure enough, other artists are sharing news that they are in fact being told they will get banned for some of the creatures I was told I would not. And for some I wouldn't have guessed. Twitter I am seeing numerous reports of artist's getting warned to delete the following:

Pikachu
Yoshi/Koopas (HUH???)
Gabumon
Crash fucking Bandicoot
Short but clearly grown adult female and male characters (short stacks)
and many more.

So I have reopened my ticket asking mods to go through and actually tell me every picture that does need to go in great detail or the mods can't agree on so I can act accordingly. Especially since my current comic Owl or Nothing might be one of the things that has to go, because it has Yoshi's in it! Despite the fact the plot features an adult woman in her 20s struggling with infertility and features 0 minor coded characters in it, someone on the mod team might squint and go "why doesn't that lizard have boobs?!" and slap my ass with the ban hammer. And to top it all off I've seen reports that the mods themselves currently are not in agreement of what it/isn't allowed! So if you notice any of my pictures missing it's because FA told me to go fuck myself.
