seems like FA is repeating the same mistake it made 10 years ago with Sonic characters...except with pokemon/digimon this time! i can already smell the smoking ruins of wrongly banned accounts that we all smelled back then...
BUT...legit criticism of this new policy aside (and yes there are many legit criticisms, but im sure most of us have already had those addressed in our journal feeds today) i had to lol at a post some queer supremacist made lamenting about how this new policy is "the latest in anti-Queer weaponization" online.
yeah...really not sure this is a battle you idiots want to be starting. no amount of intellectual masturbation and big words from your latest most woke edition of Websters Dictionary are gonna convince people you aren't totally defending pedophilia by attacking a policy (however flawed) to combat a form of child pornography.
the LGBTOMGWTF crowd already openly flaunts its affinity for pedophilia outside of the internet, you'd think this is something even far-left extremists would try to combat, but nope...queer supremacists believe literally EVERYTHING is an attack on their rights, and embrace any and every perversion so long as its twisted and regurgitated to serve the LGBT narrative. they want this oppression SO MUCH they're even willing to speak out against a policy to combat child porn as "the latest in anti-Queer weaponization" online.
the logic here is just so fucked up...and honestly self-serving from my perspective as somebody who vehemently opposes nearly everything the LGB(and especially T) cult has decided to normalize within the last 10 years...i dont even need to go on the attack or anything, all i gotta do is point to a handful of educated idiots lamenting about how this anti-child porn policy (on an already far-left website mind you) is AN ATTACK ON MUH RIGHTS AS A QUEEEEEEEER!!!!

kinda why i started with this statement O-O i dont agree with this new policy either, i think FA is repeating the same mistake it made 10 years ago with a similarly vague, heavy handed policy that will end the same way it did the last time....they're coming from a good place wanting to keep pedos off the site...but they're executing it in a horrible way. what was that old definition of insanity? doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? >.<
however i despise cub art...and this entry was more a reaction to some LGBT cultist saying that a policy designed to keep cub art off the site was an attack on queer rights online. overall this policy is gonna remove more non-cub art than anything else...but i'm just pointing out how ridiculous it is to link a policy (however flawed...key statement here) to remove cub art from a site to queer rights online...it only acts to confirm the LGBT stereotype of being associated with pedophilia. thats all i was trying to say here ^^;
I beg to differ. They might claim that it's to "prevent minors from being exploited", whatever the fuck that means, but how can you actually hop on that train when there is no way any of this can do that? The exectution is bad because there is literally no way to execute this well. Pokemon/Digimon have been protected for a reason until now, and if a drawing deliberately depicted Pokemon/Digimon as underage, then it has been against the rules already. There is no good intention in changing the already existing rules to "now everything that we decide LOOKS too young will mean that you're a predator and you'll be banned".
I have literally no reason to give FA the benefit of the doubt and basically defend them by saying that they have good intentions and simply messing up, especially when you're saying this isn't even the first time they do this. And I don't understand how you can do that, just because you hate cub art and FA is acting like they are doing this to fight that.
Actions speak louder than words. And these actions only serve to destroy regular people and don't help anyone.
If that's the definition of insanity, then falling for the "we're only doing this to protect the childrenz" over and over again should qualify as well.
Again, I don't care about the politics, I've been trying to stay far away from it. I probably shouldn't have replied to this journal. In fact I probably should've stayed out of your journals in the first place. But the fact that you can even remotely entertain the idea that FA has good intentions behind this policy change really struck a nerve. Probably more than anything else because I expected better from you. But I suppose "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" takes precedence for you here.
Not to mention... you saying that those people attacking this policy is "defending pedophilia", sounds very much like according to you I'm also defending pedophilia right now.

you can attack this policy justly as much as you want, but dont do it in the name of queer rights, cuz that movement already has a very strong association with pedophilia at this point that it just looks really bad. that was what i wanted to say here, thats all
the list should have stopped when it reached "LGB". transgenderism (aka gender dysphoria) is a mental illness, not homosexuality, and everything else afterwords is just subjective fantasies that dont line up with objective reality. the power this growing cult of extremists has should really frighten most people...and is honestly doing a lot to push legitimately LGB people away from associating with it because of their political extremism.

its reasons like THAT which need to be addressed regarding this new policy...and rightly so most people are addressing them in the thousands of journals posted about it since yesterday. what DOESN'T need to happen though, are people attacking this policy in the name of "queer rights", because 1.) that has nothing to do with anything about this in the first place, and 2.) the LGBT scene already has a massive reputation for pedophilia as it is, it REALLY doesn't look good going after it in the name of "queer rights" given this stereotype
