You know why this journal exists

Hey cool kids. I suppose I should actually write a journal more than once every 5 years for reasons other than this l3
Everything is obviously a bit up in the air at the moment, nice and ambiguous, the way we like it. But, as I'm sure you know, I draw a lot of cute and toony bois and girls banging, as well as cute monsters of various sizes and shapes, so in the event that I get raccooncelled come this July 1st, I'd like to remind everyone that I also post art in these places, and perhaps someday that will be necessary:
Inkbunny: https://inkbunny.net/graedius
Weasyl: https://www.weasyl.com/~graedius
SoFurry: https://graedius.sofurry.com/
Afterdark.art: https://afterdark.art/user/Graedius
FurryNetwork: https://furrynetwork.com/graedius/
I sincerely hope this isn't as bad as it seems, though. Because FA, despite being a rusted relic of the past, has always been a special place for me. My "home on the internet", so to speak, since 2006. The place where the entire body of my artwork has been posted, and is still available in it's original form. Where I met and made so many of my most important friends, from all the way back then to this very day! And, insofar as furry communities are concerned, it's by far the one with the most active and meaningful engagement -- you know, comments, replies, userpage shouts, replies to my replies. I do post to all the above places, but in comparison to FA, they are all ghost towns. I'd like to never have to abandon it, because it's been a big part of my life for such a long time -- someone born the year I made this account could, in theory, next year, legally look at porn on it!!!!!
I've been wary of this for some time now, even before this whole debacle started. You might have noticed that many of my submissions these days, with even a tiny hint of ambiguity, all bear the text: "ALL CHARACTERS DEPICTED ARE 18+", just in case some hyper active internet hero decides that stuff like this is all illegal. It's always been a concern, but now moreso than ever.
So, we will just see how things shake out. If worst comes to worst, I'll still be available all those other places, at least. l3
Just to clarify, I intend to continue using FA exactly as I always have been.... but it just doesn't hurt to remind everyone that those other places exist, just in case l3

FA+

I don't trust that most people have a discerning eye for artistic intent or the ability to judge why somebody's work looks the way it does - definitely shouldn't be something one person alone gives the go-ahead on.
But I agree, the other pages really feel a bit like a ghost town. I've already seen a lot of comments wishing that FA would just die due to this, but honestly, that would only leave us with a lot of mostly-dead pages... and crap like Twitter. I don't think I've had any meaningful interaction outside of FA, perhaps with a handful of exceptions - so I still hope the site survives, shitty management or not :)
I guess this just means Inkbunny will get a nice boost in commissions from now on.
You'll just have to draw MANLY characters with heavy beards and proper chest hair from now on!
That being said, I plan to continue to use this exactly as I have been for now -- if things change later, well. They'll change l3
Also, rather than leave it uncertain, you can file a ticket with some submission links to ask "Hey, would this violate the new rules?" and they'll just tell you yes/no since the rule isn't in effect yet.
I do hope that they give people warnings first and don't just go straight to suspensions and bans, as that's a bit heavy-handed, but we'll have to see.
But yes, the clarification does seem to make it a little more specific. Although it's still subjective in nature as to what counts and what won't. It's just a bit more stressful to post art like that, hahah. But we will see!!
It's a real shame cause while I don't particularly love FA, it's (unfortunately) still the best art site I've ever used, mainly for the community like you said. So many others have a tiny userbase, are just crap for art in general (Twitter, hate how popular it is as a gallery), or have a bunch of other issues and aren't good enough to deal with the hassle. I love your stuff and it'd really suck for a dumb ban to make it so much less accessible.
